I have kings, japanese, californias and bobwhites. I LOVE all of them!
I'll start with my king quails as I have those pictures. I'll add my others later.

That's all my kings I have at the moment. Some of them I don't have any more (they've passed away). I have 12 in total, 3 breeding pairs, 2 cages of three females. Hope you like them!
They are soooo tiny as chicks!!! :love

I think they are just about as adorable as my silkies! Can they be in a mixed flock?

Indeed they are!

Some people have kept mixed species of Quail together with some success but personally I find it way to risky and wouldn't.

I raised Quail along with my silkies from hatching but as the Silkies get about 3 times the size of the Quails it's time to separate them. They may not mean it 'intentionally' but one peck from the Silkie could kill the quail. When they're chicks though they get on fine.

Hugo my pet Quail loves belly tickles though and he gets super excited on a morning when I go to see him :gig

Hmmm trying to imagine their size full grown. I consider my silkies small, except my one Cockerel. I see they are ground birds like silkies (don't roost)
