Very nice and unusual looking chickens !

A cross I would like to work on in the future is a Turken + Faverolles = A chicken that is naked neck and has a large beard !

Here're mine...

First is Fidget. "He" is a serama polish cross

Here he is posing a little bit... He can really get the serama look to come out when he wants to! He'll stick his chest way out, tail goes straight up and he struts around like he owns the world

Dad is Sunny:

Mom is one of these 2 polish girls (I'm pretty sure it's my khaki girl - he has the same great personality already!)

No pictures yet, the eggs go in the incubator tomorrow. I am trying 2 mutt breeds. 1, a white-faced black spanish banty hen to a VERY tiny spangle roo. 2 , blue & black EE hens to a silver lakenvelder roo. I hope they turn out the way I want!

I crossed my Buff Orpington roo over a Black Australorp hen.

I don't have pictures of the mom, but Black Australorps all look alike.
I kept 4 of the pullets from this breeding, I call them Australorpingtons. I am breeding them back to another Buff Orpington roo. They are just now starting to lay nice brown eggs, they just turned 6 months old. I expect them to be as good of layer as their mom.

I also have a Black Andalusian/RIR cross hen, she lays a brown egg.

And a beardless Black Australorp/EE hen, she lays a beautiful olive green egg.

Maybe That's what my "Robin" is (BO/Australorp)... I bought a batch of "mixed breed eggs" and Robin was one of the chicks that I hatched out.

I wonder if that color could be stabilized. Did the cockerels look the same?
