Yes I also don’t know about that. She is bigger from the other female. The other female looks more ‘mallard’ if you know what I mean. The place where I bought the eggs of said the farm was pure mallards.Nope~ Sorry for the confusionYour mallard girl actually may be a rouen, She has two dark stripes on her face which indicates rouen. Mallard hens wont have that.
Of course they are cute! They are sweet little things. Belle my male duck always quacks and runs along when I come home. They are so curious and really do care. They are great for cuddling too.
