Pictures of your mixes?

So pretty! What mixes are they?
The father is the orange roo. The hens that the eggs came from are the ones that are shown after the orange roo.

I don’t blame you. The Sebright is one of the most beautiful chicken breeds.
PS Have you seen the Silver Sebrights? ;)

OH!! Thank you! An image of one of those is what made me want to breed chickens, period. But I didn't know what breed it was. My best guess was a Silver Laced Wyandotte, but it was definitely this. Moving to the top of my list to find!

Ginger1_01.JPG

This is Miss Ginger, my oldest hen. She's 9 this year. Her father was a Black-Red Araucana (British type) and her mother was a Vorwerk.

Snowball1_01.JPG

Her daughter, Snowball. Her father was a Light Sussex mix that just appeared in the yard one day.

Judyetal1_01.JPG

Judy, (left), a Silkie mix that hatched from 'mixed-breed hatching eggs' I purchased last year for an infusion of genetics, with Summer (back) and Dusty (right), both Lavender Araucana x RSL (I have around 12 hens from this mix; they lay varying shades of green).

Some (81) chicks hatched on the 7th. There's a couple of pure Araucana and Marans in here, but they're mostly mixes. There's a lot of variety, particularly now that they're feathering out.

I have a few pictures I'm working on, but here are some. They are Easter Eggers, with Barred rock sire and Buff hens and also Barred hens crossed with blue Easter Egger (avatar). One is a California white cross, bred with the blue Easter Egger. quite a variety with little mutt EE's. Well, I guess this thing is having much difficulty uploading my pictures, so this is just one chick at various age. will shut down and try again later.
