Wow what beautiful projects you ladies hae been making.

I haven't been able to quilt in a while because of all the chores needing attentions while hubby recooperates from soooooo many surgeries.
I miss working at the machine and then sitting to hand quilt.

This quilt is still a work in progress. Right now it is in the sewing room still on the frame....beaconing me.

This was a baby quilt for a nephew

This one is sandwiched ready for handwork.

A grand baby got this one

I've posted others, will have to pull them up later.

Thank you for the compliments. Quilting is so much fun and I can get lost in the process.
The black and white quilt has 12 inch blocks that were hand pieced. Researching the blocks and then drafting the patterns for them to the 12 inch was fun, picking out fabrics was enjoyable, piecing was a challenge, drafting the border was time consuming but putting the top together was a breeze, deciding on the quilting on the sashes, hand basting for the sandwich..whew! The hand quilting has been relaxing and nice to see the whole thing coming together. I have now moved the quilt frame back to the den and can now find time each day to work a little more. The binding has already been put together and ready to add when the hand quilting is finished...it's hundreds of the diagonal pieces like in the border.
