pigeon breeding

hello i know i asked this before but can someone tell me how to get pigeons breeding i feed them daily have fresh water nesting bowls and hay for nesting and pearches they didnt go out of the loft in about 1 month because of the winter months i will start letting them out in january so any advise would be nice thank you !

Make sure you have both males and females. If this is confirmed I think your birds are still a bit too young. In my opinion nature should be taking it course when the first rain falls in the spring (unless you provide artificial light). I have pigeons who just laid eggs a few days ago but as a rule of thumb breeding slows down this time of year.

You could have 2 males or 2 females. If you have one of each you should see courtship behavior. To stimulate a pair to lay leave a light on early and late in the day. Longer daylight or compensated with artificial light will get them going. You can leave light on all night or put a timer on it
