@biophiliac No not yet BYC buddy. The bird looks emancipated as if it starved to death. I will post results once I examine the corpse. The only good thing about the loss was it was not one of my cherished solid whites.

So being Sherlock, I asked Watson to investigate if this was Photo-shopped. With todays methods I can have my picture sitting in an easy chair on MARS.

Note that they are various colors, not just one pattern.

I'm not sure on the truth of it but I heard that canarys can be coloured by additives in the water? how true I don't know. I should investigate!

Did your temps drop drastically?

Yes matter of fact we were enjoying above freezing temperatures then like you said a drastic drop to below freezing temperatures.

I just looked it up. They do colour them by feed or water! Learn something new everyday!

And if you add i think its vitumin c powder to coturnix quail water their eggs will become slightly blue. Even if they arent celadon gene.

Well i watched the video! Its very interesting how he devoloped the appearence of the birds. It does make me want to breed my feather footed ones. I like when birds like piano tail have a white head, they are really good looking in my opinion.

He has quite a few good vids on his channel. I like feathers on the leg or a small amount on the foot but I'm wary of the big muffs as difficult to maintain looking clean and nice.
