Pigeon feed.

Hi everyone,I was just woundering if my pigeon feed was good enough for them.It has 20% protien chick crumbles,wild bird seed,salflour seed and oat groats in it.

If they are in good condition,I don't see any reason to change the feed.

mixed cost a fortune. I paid $12 for 20kg of wheat and $15 for 20 kg of cracked maize.

Should work for them, be sure that they have some grit to go along with it tho. Also if you have a Southern States store near you they can get the Rockin- Rooster brand of 5 grain scratch feed that makes a good pigeon chow.

Mine are on whole Milo $6.36 for 50 lbs. and I throw in a lil' pellets to. I was feeding them scratch, but they wasted all the corn....... Its to hot for corn right now.

Mine get a wild bird seed but I think the only parts they eat are the milo, millet, and sunflowers. They don't touch the wheat and I don't think they eat the corn either. I need to find something else to feed them
