Awesome!!
Now I know exactly how old the baby was I got from someone right around 10 days old.
thank you for the growth time line.
You have some very pretty birds.
which breed are they, the tiny baby one I got is a spoiled rotten Homer.

I love pigeons!

i love raising them i hope to incubate some eggs this year so i can raise them

looks like it's a young male?

It's actually a hen, the parents are a blue bar cock and an ash red hen (in pic), any red offspring from the mating are cock birds, blues are hens.

Are you thinking of handraising them from day 1? Big job.

oh cool

and yup i always do

when i use to have a flock of about 10 birds i always hand raise the babies and each pair always hatched out 2 chicks so i would always have about 4 sets of 2 chicks in different ages raising them lol

it can be hard at times but i am use to it and i love it because then when they are adults they are REALLY tame

I usually just supplement the chicks for some of the shorter beaked breeds (I have valenciana thief pouter) using cake icing gun and soaked pellet... as they grow older, a few wet peas straight down their beak.
