Pigeon Talk

Can you tell me the history?
I fed it some chicken layer pellets, with some seed. And warm water. It says it great. It was fed this at about 4:00 pm. Today, at around 7:00 pm his crop wasn't empty yet. Is this what you needed?

I don't think it's sour crop anymore. I just checked and there are two recent good looking droppings.

If they crop is empty in the morning I think you will be fine.

Can someone answer this question for me please
I have to pigeons with short feathers on their leg both male and female
Do you think that they will give birth to babies with long feathers on their feet??
Thank you

No. very unlikely. it's a pretty recessive gene, so it mostly gets passed on through two parents having it. So, your babies will probably have feather legs, but not long ones.

Same way that if you had two short beaked breeds, there children wouldn't get a long beak. does this make sense?
