She appears to be entirely unrepentant!

I would guess she hatched in january. Her band says 2020, so a YB. it might be a bit old to resettle, we will see. Her eye is not to dark (a sign of a very young bird) so she's defiantly 4+ months.Any idea how old she is?
maybe. Although he was well taken care of... mite free, good droppings, (despite being a wild bird for a few days), bright feet, etc. So she had a good life. We will see which one she liked better here in a few months.Maybe she didn't like her other coop & took the opportunity to escape.
So, friendly... Very few pigeons are friendly, as in come to you to get touched. But trusting,,, thats eating out of your hand, landing on you, pecking your shoes, (well, that's kinda on the dumb side ) so for a friendly bird, get a hen. For a trusting bird, male all the way. My little guy who's in training is a male, and he loves me. I think I like males personality more, but the calmness of hens is a nice break!are makes or females friendlier?
Did you happen to ask what strain/strains he keeps? With the dark eyes, this one almost looks like it could be a Sion
No.. It actually isn't a bird he bred, so he doesn't know anything about it, other than it's racing blood. We will see what it breeds!Did you happen to ask what strain/strains he keeps? With the dark eyes, this one almost looks like it could be a Sion
In no! I'm sorry. put nugget back out to lure her in. Do you have a good call?Update: both Kiwi and Peach just came back. Kiwi landed in a neighbor’s yard and they have dogs so I’m worried about her. I tried calling her back but she won’t come.
