Well.. the pheasants are rehomed.. but dh said he'd really rather I wait till spring to get pigeons so we have more time to get the aviary ready... amd he's right... but but but...i dont waaaana wait..:hit

I waited 9 months from March when I decided til Dec to get things ready.We will keep you company while you wait. :)

I'm more excited about that than probably Interlopette.
:oops: I left a small container of seeds where he could see it outside the loft.. was gone this eve. He/she will have to make up their mind to go inside for the food, or not.:confused:

I was peeking this morning, watching Bonnie and Clyde do a little courting. I assume that’s what they were doing :D
He was making all kinds of coo’ing noises and dancing around. She finally got close to him, he kinda bowed down in front of her, and she started grooming his head. It was so cute. He would groom her neck and chest too.

Then a pullet within earshot sounded to be rejecting the advances of a cockerel and Bonnie got a little spooked by it.
I felt like I was invading their privacy, so I left. :gig

He showed up on the landing board shortly after I let my birds out. Don't know where he roosted as I spooked him off the vent cover when I went to do my last check on the birds after dark.:)
