Pigeon Talk

I usually catch up before commenting, which I should have done this time. I see that was already suggested.

I’m caught up now! :frow

Don’t think I told you all, I found Galaxy dead a couple evenings ago. He was just starting to get out of the box and wander around, I saw momma feeding him on the ground. But when I did my evening rounds, Galaxy was laying dead in his nest box. No apparent wounds except a small peck on one eye. Crop was full, he had been doing very well. I think Skye got aggressive and did it.
aww, sorry WV. That's really sad. I loved the name galaxy.

@mixedUPturk be careful, if you hang out here too long your I'll end up wanting pigeons! It seems to be a recurring pattern!

:lau ur welcome to try but im sure youll find me a difficult sell, are they more than just pets?
there is something about pigeons, you just get more. You an do whatever you want with them, show them, compete with them, race them, breed them, or have them as a house pet.I

And the different breeds... You can some roll in the air and catch themselves, or release some and they return from hundreds of miles away. And then to free fly them... It's so exhilarating when you see your birds diving out of the sky to come and eat at the sound of your whistle. They are just so different than other types of birds.
