My first thought could be young bird sickness with it being sick. But that is accompanied by green runny poop. If it is red bloody poop it could most likely be cocci but not being sick. Do you have a 3 in 1 or 4 in 1 treatment? This video is great. A bit on the long side but worth a watch. Most of the medication is UK but I'm sure there will be a US equivalent. But first I would keep him isolated and see if he improves. Some probios in his water would be a good start though.

Wait. Prob 7 days ago i saw a little blood ontop of their poop and i figured one hurt its toenail but i couldnt find the one. It was on its fav perch. I dont have a 4in 1 treatment. All i have is respitory treatment, canker treatment and then a calcium suppliment. I will watch that video now. Can someone help me with what medicine to buy? I want to be able to buy some christmas gifts so keep that in mind thanks soooo much ccuk.

Your welcome. The 4 in 1 is probably the best for the more common ailments. In UK it about £10 a bottle. There is a raft of different things you can buy but I'd start with just a good clean in the loft, fresh feed and water daily and rest. Probios will be good. If they're cooped up not flying than stress can cause the immune system to not be as effective.

Is it acting as if it has cocci? Hunched up, fluffed up, lethargy, lack of appetite, blood in poop? Throwing up isn't a sign of cocci but could be something else. If you can get the 4 in 1 it would be better as it covers cocci as well as canker, worms and external parasites. If you have to order it, it will take a day or two to arrive so you can see if there is any improvement. A thorough clean and a little acv in the water is a good start.

Put them on some Corid. They don’t have any external parasites do they? If parents have notes or lice it doesn’t take long for the parents to give them to the baby with doesn’t have much blood to spare.
