Oops! Just when I was hoping my bird count was up to 37 I counted just now with my flash light checking every nook and corner my bird count is now down to 34.

Seem you are loosing others than those from your release??? am I correct.
Did you keep track which particular ones you released. And which of those returned ?

Tried to get a look at the squabs this morning. Daddy Clyde was being protective, but I see a leg! lol I actually saw both babies, appears they are doing fine!

Here are photos as promised awhile ago. The ones on the bucket are the squeakers. Anyone know what coler they are? I also need a bigger feed pan!

Love your squeakers! What color are their parents?
I use a large plastic tray from a wire dog kennel as a second feed station so they don't squabble.

Is your water in a heated container, or do you just provide fresh during day???

The parents are a solid white hen and the cock is a brown one with white flights and a white tail. The second closest one to me in pic #1.

I’ve watched so many videos on color, but I still don’t know all the combinations and possibilities, so I’m no help. I need a day to sit down and really study them.
