I'm back from the show! Which was also a pigeon show, actually, which I did not know going there, lol. Not a lot of pigeons for sale, though.

First the pigeons, this being a pigeon thread.

There was a frillback, which made me happy.

These guys are Catalonian Tumblers.

Oh, and I bought this mug, the sales from which supports their youth program.



And got myself a very nice carrier for my show birds to get them to shows:

Just the BEI, which I had bought and paid for in advance. Nothing else I was looking for was there. There was an adorable pair of langshan bantams which I aaaallllmost got, but I resisted.

He's actually a LF Modern Game - you don't see them in LF too often, so it was cool to see them.

Lol, it's a good thing I did get them then They're pretty. The female has some white, but that's pretty typical, and apparently the secret to a good green sheen is that the females have occasional white feathers. If you want to show them, you just pluck the feathers the day of the show.
