They're Call ducks.. the geese are back behind me in the video..

Thumbs up on the new avatar! Is 10 big for a call duck clutch? And are they all from that mom that brooded them? I've never had ducks..

Tbh Im not sure if they're all from her eggs or not.. and not sure about clutch size either.. have to see what @WVduckchick has to say on that one..

Nothing like cute babies to put a smile on your face this time of year.
My ash red cock is sitting on one egg and fighting me to keep it. lol I'm about to give in... What's one more... or three more if you count Loper's eggs. I don't even know when those are due and not sure if the first one got too cold or not.

Oh well, I told my brother to set up the spotting scope to see if there's some owl fledglings in the old hawks nest across the street. I have been hearing the owls at night for months but I resisted thinking they were nesting. I hope none of my birds get fed to the owlets.

Speaking of eggs, I have 2 homer hens on eggs... They have been on for several days now, I first saw them on day 2? We will see if they are fertile in a day or two. I kinda hope they are. I also have a roller pair that just laid an egg. I'm egg-cited for this pair, they are good bloodline!
