Pigeon Talk

How do you know your pigeons have worms?? Did you take fecal sample to analyze?
Not yet I’ll be bringing them in soon to check before I go and buy the wormer. I quarantined the five new birds I added in January for a month beforehand but just want to be safe. If they do have any it’s definitely not a heavy infestation but I want to nip anything in the bud

Thanks for the recommendations!

They're both looking great still, and should hatch on the tenth I think. One looks internally pipped already though, so I wondered if it could be early or not.
Could be that the parents were sitting on the first egg in the day or two between when the second one was laid so its a little further along in development. Some of my pairs leave the first egg alone until both are laid, some don’t

Mine were sitting intermittently.
But I just went out there, and both seem to be zipping already!!! How is that possible?!

I did not know you have interest in pigeons.. :frow
What breed did you choose?
They are my son Frankie’s birds, but my grandpa was huge into fan tails.

We adopted ours from the humane society. Three homing pigeons & one mangled looking fan tail. Not really how we planned it, but we weren’t going to leave the fan tail there. It would be nice if we could eventually even out the numbers & the breeds.
