Pigeon won't loft fly, but then likes to take her time on tosses

I’ve had birds come back after three or four, but who knows...
There's still hope, but I wish you wouldn't have tossed a single bird.

Three or four days! That's nothing! Mine come back three weeks ago after it had been missing since August 18th. I was impressed. Im pretty certain it was in another loft, as it was a little,,, chubby. Haha. Here's the bird. :)

Gorgeous bird! I have one that looks almost the same, though the squab she’s on took after the dad in color (picture below). Yeah, I suppose I just got a bit carried away with releasing her. Just started pigeon keeping last fall, and all of the other birds I have are busy or homed elsewhere, so I suppose I was trying to run before I walked. I’m confident she’ll Come back as long as she didn’t get hit by a hawk, especially the next few days when it warms up. She might be more inclined to spread her wings out and warm up. Again, she was pretty well fed that day, didn't really have much time out of the loft, and I released her at my uncle's house, and last time I released her there she spent about half a day just sitting on the roof, so probably just out relaxing somewhere. Fast bird when spooked as well, so who knows! I doubt it's in someone else's loft though- as far as I'm aware I'm the only pigeon guy for 10 miles or more.

Did your pigeon return??
Because you are the only known loft in 10 mile radius does not mean, your pigeon cant find another loft. There is the possibility, joined a feral flock and is living with them?

So far no, but the trap door is still open if she finds her way back. Again, it’s possible she found another loft, but it’s very likely that if that happened I would hear about it through the local club. As for the flock of wild pigeons, I doubt it. I’m sure there are pigeons in St. Louis, but I’ve never seen any on this side of the bridge.
