hi dose any one know how to find pigeons for sale that look like city pigeons near Macallen Texas that are not on line cant pay for shipping

The ones that look like city (feral) pigeons are racing pigeons or homing pigeons. And you could try to find some breeders through a pigeon club and see if there’s anyone close nearby.

Give this page a try (should already be filtered for breeders in texas). I'd just start making phone calls. You should eventually find what you're looking for. Another option is to find a local racing club and just poke around talking to people. Many clubs have facebook pages.

They dont need to be babies, if youve never owned pigeons you wont be able to care for babies, too hard for beginners.
You can get a young pigeon, adult, or even old, it will learn. They are intelligent creatures. It just take time and effort to train them. Some learn quicker than others. "Homers" are just a breed of pigeon, every breed of pigeon will 'home' back.

can pigeons be tamed easily?
