I was at TSC this morning, and all they had in pine shavings was small bags for hamsters and the like. Perhaps the feed store will have better options? Or a garden centre? Where do you get yours?
Pet stores often have larger bags of pine shavings as do some feed stores. Personally, we take a pickup truck and go to the sawmill - $20 for a load to the top of the cab. YOu just need to make sure it is DRY. Since this is saw dust, I mix in a little bit of pine shavings every so often - seems to help keep things mixed up instead of poo just collecting on top.
Fleet Farm. 5 cubic feet for 5.16 in the horse section. Great price for that amount. That's for pine shavings. You have a choice of course or fine. We bought the coarse.
