Pink Egg Project Interest?

Is that color consistent across the whole breed? That picture looks like a bloom.

I guess starting with a Faverolle would be a good start. However, I don't think we can discount those brighter pink laying Easter eggers either. Buff Orpingtons and light Sussex would be good additions too.

I had a light brahma hen who would lay pinkish eggs

Looks like they washed the eggs off and the color stayed the same. I also saw a yellow egg in the mix.

I wonder if these could be imported. I thought I read somewhere that a university in Israel was researching what made them that color, but I can't find the article anymore...

I’m honestly not sure if it’s fake or not without seeing said eggs in person.
