Pink waddles but no comb development... pullet?

This is ducky, he is behind in growth due to a leg malfunction at birth, I saved him and his/her legs are fine now. He is a 6 week old Cochin/Orpington chick (his/ her mother was white, its father is blue and (s)he is black). I am worried because at about 5 weeks , his/her waddles began to turn pink , but still no comb color or development. Comb hasn’t grown since birth is seems like. Do you think ducky is a pullet or roo? ( hoping for pullet!!!)

The red on ducky’s comb is a sore due to him trying to escape the chicken coop through the rabbit wire! Lol today was his 1st day

Looks like a pullet for now, but because of the delayed development, I would repost pictures at about 10-12 weeks old.
