Oh man I have sworn off incubating for awhile after this last hatch but I must know what this chicken is!! If anyone knows please share what it is and if you have eggs of such a bird please sign me up for your next available batch. Just don't tell my husband.

A lavender frizzle Orp maybe?? The body in that pic looks Orpington to me, what color are her legs?

Does she have feathered feet? I’d guess frizzled bantam Cochin. I have a few frizzled hens and pullets. I’d be happy to send you eggs if they ever stop brooding!

I was thinking frizzle mottled lavender Orpington. I love the white flecks on the tips of the feathers.

The picture popped up on my Pinterest feed but the picture looks like there are feathered feet. Other than the photo there was no information. I would love some eggs if you ever have any available.

Probably is mottled, either self blue or BBS blue, can’t tell for sure. Not an Orpington though. A couple of my girls carries the mottled gene, but doesn’t show it. My rooster is mottled also, so I could conceivably get one that looks very similar to the picture, if it’s bbs blue. I don’t have self blues.
