For a boy, I'd want to name a dog Pioneer and call him "Pi" for short, but I'm drawing a blank for similar girl names. I thought of Legacy and Rocky Ridge (Laura Ingalls Wilder's eventual home), but couldn't find a cute nickname to go with them. Maybe Bonnet. Any other ideas?
