Noticed baby had made a hole in the shell and we can see him moving and pecking. Cute little egg tooth!! Noticed it about 10ish. How long can I expect before he zips out. Never done this before. LOL

Mine took about 20-30 minutes once they started unzipping. Most hatched within 2 hours of each other. The last one hatched 4 hours later.

Are they all hatched now? How many did you get? Be sure to post pictures!:jumpy

I am so worried. This morning there is very little progress. I can see the little guy in there, I can still see him moving but no more cracks in the shell and I don't know if this is normal or if there is anything I can do. Temp is 99.8 humidity is 65-68.
The hole is a little smaller than a pencil eraser.
No progress in the other 4 eggs. Today is day 22.

Been 24 hours. Little change. Snapped a quick photo just now.
Temp is 99.7, humidity is 68.

How do I tell if he's stuck? I just don't know how he would continue to crack the shell if his beak is sticking out this hole.

@Texas Kiki look.

@jenni6553 the pip is way far down on the shell. Looks like this one is not positioned correctly. Take a look at other pictures for where the pip is supposed to be. Closer to the fat end.

Afraid this little guy is stuck. Read the warnings before assisting.

Best wishes with your decision.

Thanks and that is what I have been thinking! :(

This is going to be the death of me. LOL I have removed tiny little bits of the shell. He is moving around a lot now and peeping. I do think he was stuck. I left some of the shell now that I see he can move. Hoping he can get himself out now. I am watching very closely and doing short sessions so he doesn't get cold and can rest.
Talk about nerve wracking...LOL
