Pipd's Peeps!

Pics
They are so cute <3
I love how Indigo looks, all cute a dark.

I'll be getting chicks this weekend and my own should be hatching

I think I can make it. It's spring break here so I'm stuck with nothing to do all week... I might start trying to set up the brooder.

Love love love the pics. They are all so cute it just makes me want to get my own.

I'm glad Marka has the spots like his daddy that is so cute. They are growing so fast. Momma looks so beautiful and happy. Thanks so much for sharing the pics with us. You made my day to see all those cute fuzzy babies.

:fl Good luck! I had spring break a couple weeks ago, and my niece has spring break next week--wish they would just make it all the same week!

Heehee, that's the problem with pictures! :D

Been a LOOONG few days with classes, but I do have new pictures today! The babies are about 2 weeks old now! :D

Here's Bennie!

Baby Marka!

1000

Indi! (and Marka as well)

1000

And Winty (with Indi standing tall behind him!)

1000

Mama was having a dust bath while the babies hung out in the corner.

1000

Bennie baby, such a cutie! :love

1000

Here's Marka giving me looks while Winty preens

1000

Winty and Marka again. There are some differences between them... Winty's purple head spot is pretty much gone at this point, so that's probably a good thing. :p

1000

Winty again. Mama got him all dirty throwing dirt around during her bath!

1000

Mama Margaret, lounging after her bath

1000

Marka. This is his, "I'm not going to pose," face.

1000

The babies are all scratching just like Mama showed them, but it's hard to catch on camera because they do it about ten times faster. Here's Marky scratching away:

1000

Winter and Indigo :love

1000

Supper time! Marka and Winter pose so nicely together! :love

1000

Apparently Mama's a sloppy eater. Winter had to help her clean up.

1000

Bennie under Mama's wing :love He loves doing this!

1000

And Indigo loves hopping up on Mama's back! She's awfully tolerant of their antics!

1000

"Where did you come from?" Winter coming out from under Mama to eat again.

Growing up so fast, but still equally adorable! Love their little pants! Have they tried to dust bathe yet? I'll never forget the first time my girls tried... It's always a funny sight.

Great pics of the little ones and momma too. I still don't have a favorite chick yet I love them all. They still haven't figured out what mom is doing when she dust bathes. It looks like they just stand back and watch with amazement.

Their all precious give them a little extra cuddle from me. Thanks so much for sharing them with us.

Have a great day.

Not as far as I know, but I haven't been able to sit and watch them a whole lot. :/ But I still get to hold and love on them at least once a day. :love

Ah, there's no way to pick a favorite! Every time one of them starts to stand out, the rest of them start doing cute things, too! I get the feeling that if any of them are pullets, they'll end up being the 'favorite children' because I don't like to handle the roosters too much.

It is funny to watch them stand back and stare in confusion while Margie dust bathes. :D

My husband brought home two guineas from Tractor supply. He forgot about the zero population growth.

Now I have two babies in the brooder. They are so cute I'll try and get some pics of them and I'll show you. I've never had guineas before so this is going to be a new experience.

Aw, so cute

I love Indigo's coloring and name, partly because I have a Blue Andalusian pullet named Indi

I think my chick fever has finally been cured! I have a bunch of chicks and some currently hatching, as well as EE pullet and a Egyptian Fayoumi pullet who will probably end up being named Fae. Thank you for helping me last this long

Happy Easter! :bun

So, today I'm 80-90% sure that Indigo is a boy! I was holding the babies like I do every morning and noticed that he has HUGE feet compared to the other three! I know it's probably way too early to be completely sure, but I was hoping I would have an even split of boys to girls, so I'm kind of keeping my fingers crossed that there's another boy in the mix with dainty feet and I didn't just get one boy out of the four! Now, isn't that an odd thing to say? On the flip side, though, I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that I don't have three boys with dainty feet as well as one with big feet. :p

I have an exam tomorrow, so I probably will be spending the day munching Easter candy with my nose in a book instead of being out and enjoying the warm sunshine and the company of my girls. Sigh... But hopefully that means tomorrow after my exam I can get more pictures. :D

Oh, boy! They're definitely an experience! Just wait, they're cute now, but then they turn into this:

P.S., don't worry about posting pictures. I like other people's pictures, too. :D Those keets are cute!

Aw, that's cute! Andalusians are gorgeous, too! :love

I like the name Fae, too! I keep thinking I'm going to name one of my birds Faith so that I can have a 'Fay', but it hasn't happened yet. :)

No problem at all. ;)
