Piping on day 20

Went to check on humidity in incubator and noticed what appeared to be a white spot on one of my eggs and then it started rocking then realized it was a hole in egg and chick was pipping pretty exciteing. My first batch

I had one pip this morning on day 20 as well! Maybe there will be an Easter chickie! Congrats on your first batch? Can you hear it chirping? My incubator is chirping up a storm, I always find it weird to hear chirping eggs

That's perfectly normal. Day 21 is a guideline for hatch day, so they often start the process on Day 20! Congratulations on your first pip

That's so exciting, the rest have mine haven't pipped at all yet. I guess they are going to take the full 21 days.

I only have 2 chicks and 21 eggs that have yet to do anything, they are cute little fuzzy butts though
