I had on that peeped on the wrong end away from the air pocket....

I helped it out after about 30 hours and he did well

Sorry about the delay. I ended up having to work this morning. I helped it out. There was no blood (awesome) but a little more yolk than I like to see. It's been 16 hours and it's still alive but weak. The next 24 should tell. I'm hoping he gets a little strength soon.

I had one chick that hatched on its own, but was covered in yolk and another that I had to chip out its shell because it was nearly cemented in place. It had pipped and zipped nearly all the way around and then stopped for almost 24 hours.

Today, both are doing fine. I did have to separate them from the other chicks because they were being picked on. They now have their own little condo next to the couch

I hope your little guy (or girl) does well, too.
