Advice on what to do now: Nothing. Sit on your hands. Keep the incubator closed. Find something exciting to do for about 24 hours. It may take that long for the egg to hatch. Possibly longer. [IMG]

What kind of egg is it? Most chicken eggs take 21 days to hatch--are you sure it's only been 17?

    Good luck!

well im going to have atleast three out of the batch.
one is out, one is cutting through its eggs pretty good, and one is rocking with one little whole

i hope the others hatch, ive got some purebred silkie eggs in there i know are fertile because they're to a pair.
