pipping and a hole, how long?

how long until the chick is out? i just am hearing pipping and theres a hole in one of the eggs
and i thank its day 17

can someone give me some advice on waht to do now?

Advice on what to do now: Nothing. Sit on your hands. Keep the incubator closed. Find something exciting to do for about 24 hours. It may take that long for the egg to hatch. Possibly longer.

What kind of egg is it? Most chicken eggs take 21 days to hatch--are you sure it's only been 17?

pretty sure its a chicken egg.
maybe we lost track of the days, but there;s definently a hole and pipping. lol

well im going to have atleast three out of the batch.
one is out, one is cutting through its eggs pretty good, and one is rocking with one little whole

i hope the others hatch, ive got some purebred silkie eggs in there i know are fertile because they're to a pair.
