Pipping Now under broody! Panic! PICS!

Yeh!!! Give Mommy another day until the little ones have hatched then move her. We have a broody that was three feet off the ground. She had chicks during the night and two fell out and were fussing when we got there but they are fine. We moved her today. Actually they are my brothers first banty chicks. Tiny but beautiful little things. He thought they would be duds too. We have 9 out of ten eggs hatched. Surprise! ENJOY Jean

Ok, I moved her even though the other eggs hadn't hatched yet since there was a huge ruckus and by the time I got out there, the other chickens were fighting with her to get into the nest box to lay in there with her chick.

She seemed to settle right in to the cardboard nest in the dog crate.

I'll check on her periodically today.
