Hatching mats arrived... But I seem to have ordered more than I thought. Now I have 12 lol

One of my 5 day old eggs looks like a 7 or more day old egg. It doesn't look much like it in the photo but the dark thing is litterally a black-greenish colour!

I think that means it passed away

Mine never smelled. If I'm not mistaken it should be red like when you put a flashlight in your mouth. Can you see veins or movement?

we're on day 15!
Hatching Mats are used in the floor of the incubator for safer hatching. The incubator has a smooth/shiny floor, meaning that, the chicks can slip and injure themselves during hatching.

The mats are designed with a ripple/corrugated effected to make it a non-slip area for the chicks to avoid injury.
