Pippin's D'uccle hatch-along and week by week chick growth!

Need help picking an early brooder (a small brooder for the first 2-3 weeks)
I don't want to go straight to my dog fences since it's too big and the heat lamp would be too high.
I have a wooden box I used last time, but it has low sides.
I have a transparent storage box with tall sides.

I got a bunny hutch w a plastic bottom as my brooder (and Esmeralda's temporary house), it has about 6" tall sides.

I was turning them this morning and candled a few of them. The air bubbles are beggining to appear and Im super excited because there's a mini egg in the incubator and it had a vein in it! Im hoping for some bantams

The tiny egg has 29 grams

I don't think I'd want to spend lots of money considering how much my shed conversion will cost me

Yes but this one is even smaller than a D’uccle/Sablepoot egg! A silkie egg looks very big compared to it
