Pippin and Blue's chicks seem to be doing well. It was 3°C (37°F) this morning and the chicks were still running around outside!

How to make:
Pippin's winter coop treat!

So, my flock has a little bowl in the coop and I didn't know what to put in it. Then I thought, what would be a good winter treat that would help my chickens get through the winter?

This recipie will help with:

• Keeping them warm
• Egg laying (strong shells)
• Giving them protien

Let's go!

1. Fill half of the bowl with chick starter/grower crumb!
2. Add 1 cup of split maize (crached corn)
3. Add 2 cups of oyster shell!
4. Mix!
5. Done!!!

Not really.
Thor always gets lost and doesn't realise that his mamas have already moved somewhere else, when he does, he runs and flaps around!
Vision is the one who lets me hold him. Such a cutie!
