Have you seen that YouTube channel of that guy who rescues and looks after Turkish Kangals? Well worth watching. He has a kind heart and some of the things the videos show will make you want to cry.

Well that sucks if you got a dog breed that previously attacked her other dog.. just saying.

She just doesn't like how aggressive they are. She hasn't had good past experiences with them.

I found him and two other siblings in an abandoned gravel yard hiding under a gas tank for warmth. They were covered in fleas and full of worms. A few yards away their mother was plastered to the road. Was I supposed to leave them?
I took them home, medicated them, bathed them, fed them, found them great homes, and in the process I fell in love with Kato. I didn't go around looking for a dog breed that terrified my mom or anyone else. I simply rescued some puppies.

I agree! Thankfully it doesn't happen much in your country or mine but in less developed places it's unfortunately quite common for dogs to die as a result of being neglected. It's sad.

You sound like my mom, she really detests the breed. She ended up loving my boy tho, he would walk over Legos to make me happy

Thats good! I was referencing that you lumped me in w your moms opinion vs the dog attack i experienced or witnessed (Multipe dogs). I think rescuing and caring for animals is a noble thing to do.

They are untrustworthy.. too easy to snap and cause damage. All dogs can snap though.

She hasn't had good experiences either. That's why she hates them.
I understand what you went through.
My Aussie was choke slammed into the ground and almost killed by an LGD, I still have two LGDs tho. It's always scary when your dog is possibly going to die, I don't blame you for not liking them.
