Very interesting... i heard my girls screaming really high pitched a little while ago.. so i ran out and it scared a very large hawk away!! The girls were all hiding in the coop, but i think the hawk was on the fence staring into their coop window! Everyone was safe, its super secure, but what a bold bird!!!

Yea, i don't know how they thought that was going to save them! But my yard is evidently on the community birds of prey bulletin board... i watched a massive vulture circle this morning. It didn't land, just swooped low, went to the tree across the street. Lots of critters out though, saw a rabbit around the corner too. Excited for spring!!
