So while we wait...

Yesterday my 14 year old dog caught and killed two more prairie dogs. And my husband got 1-3 while we were working on the fence (two went back in their hole, but I'm pretty sure they were mortally wounded).

AND my husband said (since we have the bigger fenced area) now maybe we can get a goose and it can just run around in there all day. He is truly fueling my poultry addiction. I'm still not sure we really have the space a goose requires though and if it's really a good idea in a neighborhood, but we visited a friend in Denver recently (actually in the city, Denver proper) and his neighbor had geese in her yard. So if anyone wants to talk about geese while we wait and convince me one way or the other...

Well, the question would be...did the geese dissuade the prairie dogs?

Hmm...

That is a very good question. I'm not sure if they have prairie dogs in the city, but if not, it's safe to assume it's because the city allows people to keep geese right?

Do geese try to kill rodents generally?
