We have one baby! The egg near it’s head is half zipped. Mama was quite upset so I couldn’t get a look at the other eggs. Looking at the photos now I see my Ameraucana somehow snuck an egg in the nest today too

I was wondering about that one on the left too. Fingers crossed it’s a pip! The “obvious” one got rolled over, it’s really more like half a zip!

I need to exercise self control nd leave mama be. I rounded up all the girls and locked them up for the night and now it’s raining, so that’s the end of tonight’s entertainment.

Duckling one was 36 hours (or more) from external pip to hatch. It’s gonna be awhile before any others make an appearance.
