Okay, we have most of our new coop designed, but can't decide if we need to put a pitched roof on it or just a flat one. We live in Southern Indiana and this will be our first winter with chickens. If we decide to put a flat roof on the coop, how much of a slope should we put on it so that the snow and rain will run off and make it come crashing down on our girls' heads?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, because sometimes I don't think I know what I am doing.
