Plank Challenge anyone????

Ugh...so I've fallen off the wagon over the weekend. I have no energy or motivation lately. I don't if its the shorter daylight hours or this medication I'm taking. I'm going to do a 31 burpee challenge this month too.

That is okay, the wagon is still here.

What is a 31 burpee challenge?

I think it's to do the # of burpees per day of the month. At least that's what I'm going to do. 2 today, 3 tomorrow, and so on.

I looked up burpee, that is way to high impact, to much jumping for me and my bad ankles.

Yeah, it's cardio. You can try half burpees. On half burpees you stay down. I have slow 'reload' so if the full burpees start making me dizzy I'll just do half burpees.

What I have never understood is like when I do plank or any other hard stationary exercise my heart rate and breathing increase tremendously, which is the goal of cardio, right???? So what is the difference as long as the breathing and heart rate are increased if you do it stationary (or mostly) or by moving???? I have just always wondered that, guess I should ask some professional exercise person some day.

I found that the timer on my crappy burner cell phone works pretty good! But not having to worry about it would be great! :)
