Planning our first cruise...any suggestions or feedback?

They supply towels with style! Every day your cabin boy will arrange your towel into an animal shape! And I never heard a sound at night by our room....the rooms are located far away from all the action.

my wife used to be a travel agent and we used to take frequent cruises. i much preferred the smaller ships. look for passenger to crew ratios. the smaller the ratio the better the service in my opinion. we loved royal caribbean and royal viking. remember to bring your dramamine for motion sickness and bring heavy strong sunblock. also if you like to imbibe a bit it is very easy to run up a huge drink tab. i used to get great enjoyment watching people pay off their tabs at the end of a cruise. some into the the 600-800 dollar range!!

We went on our first cruise with royal caribbean and loved it we went to fl for 2 weeks on vaca and went on a 3 day cruise to Bahamas and coco keys it was fun but I think a 5 day max would be best because I got seasick the last night and it wasn't pleasant we had very rough waters the las day but if the waters are good its great

We've been on 3 cruises...all with Carnaval. Great experience each time. Twice without kids and once with. THe kids loved it. Thinking about another cruise in April....after the snowmobile season of course! Great service, great sights, all around great time!

Bring Dramimine AND seabands (wrist bands) just in case of sea sickness. The sea bands REALLY did work! The captain came on the loud speaker and told us to go get them from the ship store.. (my cruise ship hit a hurricaine...ooh joy!)
