Baes on what I'm reading, perhaps I'll try cilantro, as I still have some room for more in my veggie and herb gardens. My watermelon did not germinate!

Tomato plant itself is toxic to chickens.Mine dont touch the carrots, tomato & zuchinni plants. Also wont touch the Marigolds i planted near by.
(I have about 5 different kinds of tomato plants and they touched none of them.)
They ate all the Strawberries(fruit only), Bell Peppers, Cabbage & Beans.
My ducks LOOOOVE cilantro and our goose enjoys it too.Baes on what I'm reading, perhaps I'll try cilantro, as I still have some room for more in my veggie and herb gardens. My watermelon did not germinate!![]()
They can have the sweet potatoes, different build up than regular potatoes. I bake and give to mine (also chopped and given raw to adult ducks). I've given baked to my runner duckling after a certain age in moderation to help with leg issues in addition to some other stuff nutrients. They can also help strengthen the immune system among other things. I haven't come across anything yet saying they can't have them, I have however come across writings saying the cannot have the leaves or stems. Are sweet potatoes considered night shade like reg potatoes? night shade family is a no no for our flock.
Mine likes mint leaves in water when they were younger, this summer I tried giving to them and they were disinterested... They're so much like children lol. Mine won't eat strawberries, but my goose will. They love dandelion greens and the blossom, will eat grapes if they're in the mood. They're so fussy... my goose is even worse though lolMy ducks love everything that I have given them except for mint leaves.
Their absolute favorite treats are grapes, strawberries and dandelions.
