I just had a flash today, as I was putting away chick equipment.
If I had gotten some dinner plates from the thrift store and glued them to the bottom of the feeders, I wouldn't have 2 broken feeder bottoms.
Everyone comes to visit and have a nature experience and invariably, while helping, they grab the little feeders by the lip, which flexes and cracks. This is going to save me some money.
