Yes, I want to see some pictures.....I have a Little Tykes house that I was just planning on listing on C.L. If I can get some ideas to make it worth my while to keep it and turn it into a coop then I will. What about the winter months...how could I heat it? Our temps sometimes dip well below zero.

Ok here are the houses I am going to use for the Pueblo del Pollo--Village of the Chickens

I'm looking for 1 more to make it a town of 4. I would like to find the storybook house at a price I can afford.

I also have this.

It's not being made anymore. I'm going to make it into another quail tractor that I will move around the yard.

Ok, we are pretty near done with my BUFF COOP...*PLAY COOP*...We had to put it in because the rains are coming in again, and as you can see they are sleeping in this:

then we found this left behind by a neighbor that moved out:

And this is how far we have gotten on it...Still need to do the roof but that can wait until after the rains and maybe fix the window so rain doesnt come in:

We are not carpenters, But I think DH did a wonderful job considering this was F.R.E.E everything used here was free except for the can of paint.

SO ANY FEED BACK AS TO WHAT I COULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENT?...OR FIX?...BESIDES THE ROOF...

I think you have done great with it so far. You have me looking at them for my chickens too.There are so many different styles out there. I love the stone cottage one and the castle, it would need a roof added though. And I love what CoyoteMagic is doing with the village........has me thinking about a village too, since I was trying to figure out how to make breeding pens. Thanks for the great ideas guys.

I wanted to do more today but the rains are coming and you saw what they were sleeping. So after the rains I will finish it. I wanted to buy those large plastic ivy leaves and attach the with the same design as the roof now. DH said its going over board. So I have to figure what I can get away with. Lol. Also want to add maybe blinds connect from the top of the window so it opens from the bottom out. Add maybe vines like a real cozy home. Lol but later at least there in it now. Its in the run.

That Wood on the side, is just to hold up the tarp at a point so that it doesnt fll the tarp and flood until we can finish our coop/run...They loved it!!!

Woke up early and they were sleeping and roosting in there...not like when I left them last night all cuddled up in a back corner because it was a new strange place...this morning they just filed out of the door I left cracked just a bit for them to come out...

In the dog kennel I had to lock them in as it was too small for them they had grown and they are 11 of them...Im sure they love there new place!!!! I know I do for them. After all this rain I need to get sand for the run...

its easy:

at the top of ur post page, find UPLOADS in the blue area....a box opens up, then you see BROWSER...click that, then upload it from where ever you have it....memory card, computer...find the picture, CLICK SUBMIT...it will work and u can see it at the bottom right side working

once you get a tag...copy it and come back to the post and PASTE IT...
