i want too ad 12 babby chicks to my hen house it is 6x12 add 8foot tall with rafters for roosts i already have 3red chicks 1 amacono 1 cochen rooster a batam rooster and somthing i dont know what it is white with black spots looks like a dalmation i have a run that is 30x20
ad a porch to keep them dry when it rains. how will theold chickens react to the babby chicks how long should i seclude them from the adults please advise:jumpy:jumpy

The chicks shouldn't be added to your existing flock until they are about the same size as your older birds. Unfortunately, the older birds could kill the younger ones if you introduce them to soon.
