Please can someone help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is for duck eggs. I have a chicken hatching some duck eggs. The one egg externally starting pipping yesterday before I got home from work and has made very little progress. He is still alive and peeping and tapping but nothing has changed at all overnight. This is my very first time at hatching any type of eggs. There is another egg I can hear peeping and tapping but no pip yet at all. How long should I let this go on?

They can take up to 24 hours or longer to hatch, but sometimes they need a little help. The trick is to know when and how to help. This article explains it very very well:

congratulations!
Hatching, whether by hen or by bator is always exciting!!
My first hatch of ducklings was by the bator and it was amazing.
Can't wait to see pics too!
