Please can someone take a look at my chickens poop?

btw if the vet did nick her during the procedure would that be very serious or something that would likely heal and resolve by itself?

I'm no expert, but I would think that digested blood would be a different color if you could even see it. If it is blood, I bet it's from part of her intestines. Keep an eye on her comb color.

Looks like blood to me. You should be able to have a sample tested for blood at your veterinarian. That is what I would advise if it is still occurring in the morning.

so scared for my girl right now. dropped a fresh sample of poop at vets but have to go back in an hour to actually see the vet. on pwands advice i left white paper under roost last night and this morning the seeping liquid looked like blood to me . now a grueling hour to wait to see vet!! she seems a bit slower today didnt jump out for food with the others. she jumped out then went and sat on a log im going to take her witb me to vets. after all shes been through if she dies because of something the vwt did ill be devastated and i think the vet would be too.he has tried so hard for her

just got back from vets, he thinks its probly bruising, he said when people have a car accident and are very bruised their urine turns pink as the body excretes it. it also could be from all the stress shes had. but he said if it was a nick from the endescope it would be in the crop and the blood would be digested and passed as black/brown sticky poop not pink. so its more likely this is from lower down in the intestine.
he said the ammount being passed is not life threatening. thew! and it should correct itself with time. he has given flagyl for 7 days to prevent infection from bacteria naturally present in the digestive system. he also weighed her and shes still gaining shes now 208 and a week ago she was 186 so that seems like a very good thing, she obviously is eating more than i see. this looks to be a waiting game, give antibiotics and hope this bleeding stops. ill be checking poop constantly, its fast becoming my new obsession! lol

I have learned that sometimes chickens do get blood in their poop for no reason. If yours just had a procedure done at the Vets, it could be as simple as that. Something may have been irritated. If it's cocci or a form of Blackhead, you'll know soon. The blood will show up more often and the bird will start showing other symptoms such as fluffing of feather, lethergy and if allowed to go on too long lack of interest in food and water.

Shell I'm with Haunted55 on this. the procedure no doubt and most likely irritating to her lining of intestines. Some times things can get rubbed or banged around a bit with procedures and since this blood does not look overly red/thick/profuse looking or what they call frank blood I'm willing to bet she is fine. You might even see her slough some intestinal lining as a result of it all as well. Which will show up coraly pink color. If it persists longer than 2-3 days then maybe talk to your vet...but from my own happenings with my birds, I know they clot pretty fast even if there were a nick.
