Please can you tell me if this a cockerel or a hen

I agree. And to anyone out there who wants to argue with Odd, be warned. She is intelligent and knows the answer to basically anything you could ask about chickens. I swear to you. Go look at her posts. Listen to what she says.
True. Odd is sassy and wise. Like Emmers.

(Biggest compliment you will ever get from me.)

I Thought rooster because of the thick legs but if it has brahma mixed in that could have also given thick legs. he/she is a very pretty chicken. I once accidentaly gave my chickens a just corn diet and they where badly stunted. I’m now leaning towards hen. But I’m not very good a guessing gender so I won’t be much help. I also love his/her colour did you hatch them or by as chicks?

I hatch them with an incubator my first attempt, manged to get 2 out of 8, it's just a cheap incubator from Amazon, here is a photo of her haft sibling, anyone have any suggestions if this is a hen or a cockerel.

This one is a pullet. I do believe I see male saddles coming in on the other one though.

I'm leaning towards boy for the first one. The second one is a girl.

At 6 months of age I would expect hackles and sickles to already be in, usually they are very noticeable by 3 to 4 months of age. And a big comb and wattles. But it can be hard to tell with Brahmas.

The legs might look thicker because of the feathering.
