I would like to dose my serama flock for parasites and worms I have bought some Ivermectin but am unsure if it is the right stuff The box reads Ivomec super (Ivermectin & clorsulon) Injection for cattle and sheep. Can this be given oraly or dropped on the skin and how much should I give to each bird.I only have insulin syringes for measuring am I right to assume 1ml is the same as 1cc,Thanks in advance

This
page mentions mixing the injectible Ivermectin with their drinking water for 2 days.

I have also heard of squirting a small dose (I don't know how much or where I heard it) right into their mouths. This method would be more hands-on and time-consuming, but gives you the opportunity to examine each bird closely.

If anyone is using the blue pour-on Ivermectin, the suggested dosage is:

0.1 cc per each 2 lbs of bird, or 0.1ml per each kg of bird.
